Artillery

Particularly, French artillery of the late 15th century.  This was artillery we would recognize.  Cannon was cast bronze or iron that fired iron balls.  Barrels were mounted on wheeled carriages, drawn by horses.  This was artillery handled by trained cannoneers and supported with an organized infrastructure for supply.  It had matured from noisy and clumsy marvel to devastating weapon system.
